The Cottagers' Association members have approved the executive committee to conduct more advanced water anaylsis starting in 2010. Samples will be taken from both the river and lake and anaylized on a more complete set of parameters including:

• Major Cations -Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium and Sodium
  
• Major Anions - Chloride and Sulphate
  
• Nutrients - Total Phosphorus, Nitrate, Nitrite, Ammonium and Total Nitrogen
  
• Carbon - Dissolved Inorganic Carbon and Dissolved Organic Carbon
  
• Others - pH, alkalinity, conductivity and turbidity
